Did you know that people with close friends have less stress and better health than those who don’t? Friendship is that important, both for your mental and physical health!
For people with disabilities, it can be difficult to make friends. You might have to overcome challenges with being vulnerable or finding people who understand how your disability affects you. Or you might be shy, insecure, or unable to give much time to forming friendships. You might even have separate classes or activities from your peers, so you have fewer opportunities to be with others your age.
