We're constantly expanding our partnerships with various agencies to expand our services into rural Nevada. NNCIL has a dedicated staff person to focus on rural Nevada to share information about products and services available to rural residents who have disabilities.
There may be funds available for everything from walkers and shower chairs to telecommunications equipment and home modifications. When we visit, we'll share information on available equipment and funding. We can also work with you to learn about home modifications you might need to live safely and independently in your home, including construction of ramps, widening of doors, etc.
If you're interested in arranging a visit to your city, please call NNCIL Rural Independent Living Advocate, Deb Maijala, at 775-353-3599.
